MoveMakers Philly is Coming to Powelton Village! We’re excited to expand to 36th & Baring inside St. Andrew and St. Monica Church, bringing After School Pick-Up, Hip Hop Theater Summer Camp, and Regular Hip Hop & Breaking Classes to West Philly! These programs will only launch if we reach the required number of families—so sign up, spread the word, and help make it happen!

Afterschool 2026 (Main promotion)

at Powelton Village
MoveMakers is launching an After School Pick-Up Program serving Samuel Powel, SLA Middle School, and more. Designed for students Kindergarten and up, our program blends hip-hop dance, music lab, arts lab, homework help, and healthy snacks in a structured, supportive environment. We also offer half-day pickups and full-day camps on school closures. Our goal is to be a bridge between school and home, helping students thrive while providing families with a trusted resource. We need 30 families to make this program happen, and early sign-ups come with exclusive savings!

Regular Classes

at Powelton Village
Our Regular Class Program is built on 10 years of dance education in Philly, and we’re excited to bring it to West Philly! Students will learn hip-hop dance and breaking, including freestyling, choreography, and performance techniques. Classes are open to Kindergarten and up, with multiple opportunities to perform in events and competitions. We need 30 families to officially launch, and early registrants can take advantage of special savings.

Hip Hop Theater Summer Camp ​

For the first time ever, MoveMakers is offering a Hip Hop Theater Camp at our new Powelton Village location! Campers will experience a unique blend of acting, dance, music, and arts & crafts, all infused with hip-hop culture. Open to Kindergarten and up, camp runs for four weeks: June 23-27, July 14-18, August 11-15, and August 18-22. Each week requires at least 15 families to launch, and discounts are available for early registration. Join us for a summer of creativity, performance, and fun!
