What originated as an outlet and source of purpose for underrepresented African Americans and Hispanics, now exists as a global art form, the predominant dance style in mainstream entertainment.
Movemakers students have the distinct opportunity to learn dance vocabulary and techniques from the 70s to present day. Music featured in classes also spans decades, representing a variety of artists from James Brown to Bruno Mars. Classes are taught by an elite line up of educators, chosen for the quality of their education, performance credentials and their merit in teaching dance and athletics to youth.

MiniMovers Ages 3-4
MiniMovers is designed for our youngest dancers, aged 3-4 years old. This level also accommodates newer 5-year-olds who might benefit from additional development before moving on to the next class. Throughout the season, students are introduced to the basics of dance, including fundamental techniques, beginner grooves, and foundational footwork across different dance styles. The class provides a structured introduction to dance forms and vocabulary, focusing on counting, learning to move as a group (choreography), and developing independence in freestyle dance. MiniMovers is crafted to ensure that when these young dancers progress to the next level, they have a strong foundation to build upon. Beginner Breaking Ages 8-10
Beginner Breaking introduces young dancers to the dynamic world of breakdancing.
